The silence required isn't just a lack of noise; it's an internal silencing of distracting thoughts. It's a respectful pause in your life to honor the King's speech.
Don't Talk Over It
A common mistake is playing the Quran in the background of a loud dinner party or chaotic shop. This is disrespectful. If you cannot listen, turn it off. The Quran should not be competing with idle chatter.
