The United Kingdom has a rich history of producing incredible Huffaz (memorizers of the Quran). Cities like London, Birmingham, and Blackburn are famous for their Darul Ulooms. However, the traditional high-pressure boarding school model isn't for everyone. Some children thrive in that environment, while others face anxiety and burnout. Our bespoke online Hifz program allows students to memorize specific Juz or the whole Quran at their own pace without leaving home.
Safeguarding First
We understand that the UK has some of the strictest safeguarding regulations in the world (and rightly so). We adhere to standards compatible with UK policies. All sessions are recorded for safety, valid DBS-equivalent checks are standard for our staff, and parents have full transparency into the classroom at all times. We prioritize the mental health of the student above rapid memorization.
Balancing GCSEs and Hifz
A common drop-off point for Hifz students in the UK is Year 10 and 11, when GCSE pressure mounts. The rigid hours of a physical Madrasa become impossible to maintain. Online Hifz offers the flexibility to scale back hours during exam periods and increase them during holidays, ensuring the student doesn't have to abandon their Hifz journey completely.
