Islam teaches a balance: Tie your camel (study hard) and trust in Allah (make Dua). For students facing GCSEs, MCATs, or Hifz tests, anxiety can cause 'brain fog'. These Duas are spiritual clarity tools.
"Rabbi Zidni Ilma"
"O my Lord, increase me in knowledge." (Surah Taha 20:114). Short, powerful, and comprehensive. It asks for beneficial knowledge, not just information.
Prophet Musa's Dua
"Rabbishrah li sadri..." (O my Lord, expand for me my chest and ease for me my task). Musa (AS) made this Dua before facing Pharaoh. If it helped him face a tyrant, it can help you face an exam paper! It asks for confidence ("expand chest") and removal of speech impediments.
Dua for Forgetting
When you go blank in an exam hall, recite "Subhanaka la 'ilma lana illa ma 'allamtana" (Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what You have taught us). It is an admission of humility that often unlocks the memory.
