Preparing for Ramadan: A 30-Day Checklist

The Salaf used to prepare for Ramadan 6 months in advance. Entering Ramadan without preparation is like running a marathon without training; you will crash by Day 5. We suggest a 'Shaban Warm-Up'.

The Physical Prep

Start weaning off caffeine now to avoid the Day 1 headache. Adjust your sleep schedule. Meal prep frozen items so you don't spend the blessed hours in the kitchen.

The Spiritual Prep

Start 'fasting' from sins. If you can't stop backbiting now, you won't stop in Ramadan. Increase your Quran reading by 5 minutes a day. The goal is to hit the ground running so that Day 1 of Ramadan feels natural, not a shock to the system.
