In Islamic tradition, the teacher (Mu'allim) holds a status almost like a parent. They shape not just the pronunciation of the student, but their character (Adab) and love for the Deen.
Beyond the Letters
A good Quran teacher notices when a student is down. They use verses to comfort them. They teach Islamic etiquette by example—how to sit, how to listen, how to respect the Book of Allah.
Correction with Compassion
The Prophet (PBUH) was the gentlest of teachers. A harsh teacher can drive a child away from the Quran forever. A compassionate teacher makes the Quran a refuge.
The Aleha Standard
We believe that technical skill is useless without spiritual light. That's why we interview for character just as rigorously as we interview for Tajweed. We want our teachers to be the role models we'd want for our own children.
