Surah Waqiah and Sustenance (Rizq)

Financial anxiety is a major stressor for families. While we must work hard (Tawakkul requires tying the camel), we also need spiritual aid. The Prophet (PBUH) advised, "Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqiah every night will never be afflicted by poverty."

Moving from Scarcity to Abundance

Reciting Waqiah is not a magic money spell; it is a mindset shifter. The Surah vividly describes the abundance of Jannah—the fruits, the couches, the peace. It reminds us that Allah is Al-Ghani (The Rich) and Ar-Razzaq (The Provider). It shifts our focus from worldly lack to spiritual abundance, reducing greed and increasing trust in God's plan.

A Reminder of Final Outcome

The Surah categorizes humanity into three groups: The Foremost (As-Sabiqun), The Companions of the Right, and The Companions of the Left. It forces us to ask every night: "Which group am I working to be in?"
