For normal work meetings, any video platform works. But for Quran classes, audio fidelity is King. You need to hear the 'Hams' (whisper) of the letter Ta, the subtle 'Ghunnah' of the letter Nun. Standard noise cancellation often interprets these subtle breathing sounds as 'background noise' and filters them out, ruining the lesson.
Why Zoom Wins on Audio
Zoom has a specific feature called "Original Sound for Musicians". When enabled, it disables the aggressive noise suppression algorithms. This allows the teacher to hear exactly what the mic picks up—breath sounds, subtle echoes, and high frequencies. Google Meet has improved with its 'Music Mode', but Zoom currently holds the edge for high-fidelity audio transmission.
Optimizing Your Settings
Regardless of the platform, always use headphones. Speakers causing audio feedback loops are the number one cause of bad lesson quality. A simple pair of wired earbuds is often better than expensive Bluetooth headphones that introduce latency.
